About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in e-commerce, driving business growth while prioritizing workplace health and safety. As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to prevent injuries and illnesses in our international operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to drive project implementation, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy a world-class Health and Safety Management System
  • Partner with field and central teams to implement projects and ensure compliance
  • Drive strategy development and alignment with customers on SMART goals and action plans
  • Establish regular business cadence to update on progress

You will also be involved in successful deployment of changes to Health and Safety procedures, supporting sites in achieving conformity, leading regional-scale continuous improvement projects, and partnering with stakeholders to provide project updates to the WHS Director.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in workplace health and safety

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This role requires extensive knowledge of Health and Safety global/EU/ROW standards and procedures, as well as a thorough understanding of country/local/federal/territory regulations.
