The role of a Financial Planning & Analysis Partner encompasses a blend of financial evaluation, strategic development, and business collaboration. The primary objective is to deliver financial insights that support effective decision-making and help achieve the organization's financial goals.

Your Mission

Business Collaboration: Serve as a reliable advisor to regional management, offering financial insights and recommendations. Promote teamwork between finance and operational sectors to meet shared organizational goals. Customer Portfolio Analysis: Evaluate customer portfolios to uncover business opportunities and risks, sharing findings with regional management. Assess competitive landscapes and market trends to identify potential opportunities and challenges. Work with central teams to explore sales potential across various customer segments and product types. Strategic Development: Collaborate closely with regional teams to implement overarching strategies: comprehend strategic aims and formulate financial plans to support them. Assist in long-term financial forecasting, including organizational setups, analyses, and investment assessments. Monitor and cascade key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to regional objectives, including pricing, execution excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial contributions. Develop financial models to aid in decision-making, scenario evaluations, and investment analyses. Assess the financial viability of new initiatives and projects. Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks associated with business operations and devise risk mitigation strategies. Stay informed about market and industry developments that could impact the financial health of the organization. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts with department leaders. Monitor budget compliance and provide insights, comments, and action plans regarding any deviations. Work with various functions to present action plans aimed at maximizing outcomes and profitability. Recommend adjustments to forecasts based on evolving market conditions and business requirements. Financial Evaluation and Reporting: Analyze financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and actual performance, to identify trends and discrepancies, supported by central FP&A and regional project teams. Prepare financial reports and presentations in collaboration with Central FP&A for management, emphasizing key insights and recommendations. Conduct cost and profitability analyses in partnership with operational teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings and collaborate with operational teams to implement them. Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure budgetary targets are met. Work with operations teams to optimize resource utilization and cost absorption. Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies and governance standards. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy. Share recommendations with central teams. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging financial technologies.

Your Profile

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Several years of experience in financial analysis and controlling within an industrial or manufacturing context. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and market dynamics.
