The role of a Financial Planning & Analysis Partner encompasses a blend of financial evaluation, strategic foresight, and collaborative business engagement. The primary objective is to deliver financial insights that facilitate informed decision-making and support the attainment of the organization's financial goals.

Your Mission

Business Collaboration: Serve as a reliable advisor to regional executives, offering financial insights and strategic recommendations. Promote synergy between finance and operational units to achieve unified organizational goals. Customer Portfolio Oversight: Evaluate customer portfolios to pinpoint business prospects and risks, sharing findings with regional leadership. Assess competitive environments and market dynamics to uncover opportunities and challenges. Work alongside central Equipment (EP&I) and marketing teams to assess sales potential across customer segments, regions, and product types. Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate closely with regional teams to implement overarching strategies, understanding strategic aims and developing financial plans to support them. Assist in long-term financial forecasting, including regional organizational setups, analyses, and investment assessments. Cascade and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with regional objectives, such as pricing strategies, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial contributions. Develop financial models to aid in decision-making, scenario planning, and investment assessments. Assess the financial viability of new initiatives and projects. Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks associated with business operations and devise risk mitigation strategies. Stay informed on market and industry developments that could impact the organization's financial health. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts with department heads and managers. Monitor adherence to budgets, providing insights, comments, and action plans for any deviations. Engage with various functions to present action plans aimed at maximizing deliverables and profitability. Recommend adjustments to forecasts based on evolving market conditions and business requirements, delivering action plans to optimize outcomes. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and actual performance, to identify trends and discrepancies, supported by central FP&A and regional project controlling teams. Prepare financial reports and presentations in collaboration with Central FP&A for management, emphasizing key insights and recommendations for both regional and central teams. Conduct cost and profitability analyses in partnership with business operations to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and cash flow improvements. Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost optimization and collaborate with operational teams to implement them. Monitor and control operational expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary and cost objectives. Work with operations teams to enhance the utilization and cost absorption of direct resources within the region. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance across various functions within the region with Sidel PPG's standards. Uphold overall governance of the Equipment business within the region. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems for improved efficiency and accuracy, sharing recommendations with Central teams (Services, Group Finance, and Group Controlling). Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in finance and controlling.

Your Profile

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Several years of experience in financial analysis and controlling within an industrial or manufacturing context. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and market dynamics.
