We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Venture Builder to join our team at Orion Startups.

About the Role:

The Strategic Venture Builder will be responsible for leading the development of new ventures, driving growth and innovation within the organization. This role requires a strong vision, leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and customer development to validate product-market fit and develop business models.
  • Scope out proof-of-concept, minimally viable product (MVP), and product roadmap.
  • Design and pilot operational processes to serve customers successfully.
  • Define key performance indicators, success metrics, and milestones.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy, including sales, marketing, communications, and policy.
  • Create a budget that includes costs, long-term forecasts, and resources required to achieve plans.
  • Recruit an initial team with the necessary skills to launch projects.

Requirements:

  • You will have experience building and growing new products from scratch into thriving businesses as a startup leader, entrepreneur, general manager, or respected product leader.
  • You possess a strong vision for your product's future, both today and in 10 years.
  • You can inspire people to join you, requiring quick and effective internal and external recruiting.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and can establish credibility within peer managers.
  • You respond well to complex situations, working across the organization and with customers and partners to solve problems.
  • You are committed to attracting diverse talent and cultivating a powerful organization.

What We Offer:

Our Strategic Venture Builder will receive a competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, along with benefits and perks that foster personal and professional growth.
