About the OpportunityAs a Software Developer in Test, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You'll work closely with our Agile production team to develop test plans and strategies that meet the needs of each engagement. Your passion for testing and commitment to delivering high-quality software will be essential in driving our company's success.
Responsibilities- Prioritize and estimate work with designers and Product Owner to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining transparency throughout the process.
- Identify critical and repetitive test scenarios and automate them, overseeing their execution and maintenance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure bugs are triaged and resolved in a timely manner, fostering a culture of quality within the production teams you work with.
- Develop test plans that enable clients to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring seamless handovers and successful project outcomes.
- Lead the development of our Quality Assurance practice area through process improvements and knowledge sharing, driving excellence in software testing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies, exploring non-functional areas such as Performance, Security, and Accessibility testing to stay ahead of the curve.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in manual and automation testing.
- Expertise in functional, regression, cross-browser/device, exploratory, and REST/SOAP API testing.
- Proficiency in working with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or other test runners.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, testing frameworks such as TestNG, Mocha, Chai, or Cucumber, and experience with TestRail, QAComplete, or similar test management tools is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is essential.
