Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

At Ford Motor Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and shipping new features using a range of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software using Agile methodologies and practices
  • Design and implement test plans, execution, and continuous releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions
  • Develop tools and processes to automate feature delivery and eliminate waste
  • Perform installations and customizations within GCP of open-source CMS technologies

Required Skills:

  • Experience developing Java Spring Boot APIs
  • Experience with key development and deployment tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins)
  • Experience developing with Angular and React
  • Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and varying databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Security and Code Quality Tools (e.g. 42 Crunch, Checkmarx)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, Strapi, Magnolia, Drupal)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology related discipline
  • Java/Spring Boot experience
  • Angular/React experience
  • Database experience
