Regional Ecommerce Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Ecommerce Director to join our team at Essencemediacom. As a key member of our commerce team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that drives business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commerce media strategies to deliver client objectives and targets
• Work closely with client leads to establish operating processes and ensure best practices for campaign management
• Provide strategic thinking and direction for commerce growth, including presenting to senior clients and taking accountability for strategy implementation and campaign performance
• Manage and lead the strategy for performance, D2C, and e-retail channels, delivering on short-term and long-term plans, including delivery against budget
• Maximise ecommerce sales performance through effective day-to-day recommendations to increase conversion, AOV, promotional activity, and minimising customer bounce rates
• Work with activation teams to make tactical changes to adapt to market conditions, ensuring the client's business and agency team are at the forefront of the industry and gaining competitive advantage at every opportunity
• Drive optimal impact with new product launches, working hand-in-hand with lead planners to create fully integrated multichannel plans that drive commerce success
• Partner with analytics and data strategy functions to analyse channel performance and provide guidance on future investment
• Provide thought leadership and POVs on industry innovations to client stakeholders
• Lead evaluation and selection of media technology tools to improve commerce driving media efficiencies
• Coordinate and/or facilitate trainings for Commerce Activation Team and Planners
• Client budget management for each campaign, overseeing and monitoring current spend and final spend forecasts while balancing against campaign objectives and goals
• Coordinate timely and accurate reporting for clients based on objectives and KPIs
• Manage coordination of proper invoice tracking and reconciliation per media vendor, in relation to overall budget

About You

We are looking for a highly numerical and analytical individual with a proven track record of successfully growing online sales performance through effective media and website strategy development. As a senior stakeholder manager, you will be able to influence and take people on a journey at all levels, with excellent interpersonal skills and a keen interest in the product and category you have worked with.

Requirements

• Experience working within an Omni-channel or pure-play business
• Experience of working in an online trading or Ecommerce position at Head of or Senior Manager level
• Proven track record of successfully growing online sales performance through effective media and website strategy development
• Experience of utilising methods to improve ecommerce performance at the forefront of technological advancements
• Experience running A/B testing, performing in-depth analysis, and utilising analytics tools and interpreting to the benefit of commercial performance
• Excellent commercial acumen and ability to galvanise and build a brilliant team
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, in a multi-stakeholder and fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
