About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Financial Operations Officer to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Steer the financial operations of the store towards long-term growth and profitability by ensuring timely and accurate execution of administrative tasks, financial reporting, budget monitoring, and production of relevant information.
  • Support the Store Business Manager (BNOM) and other commercial departments in optimizing sales and long-term profitability by actively monitoring performance metrics and providing actionable insights.
  • Lead the stores monthly financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with group accounting principles and regulations.
  • Monitor and control the store budget, analyzing P&L statements and providing regular updates to store management on the store's financial position, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, procurement departments, and other functional areas, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication of financial information.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and experimentation to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in financial leadership roles, preferably in retail or fast-paced industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
