Job Title: Finance Control and Compliance Manager

Novartis Farmacéutica is seeking a highly skilled Finance Control and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

As a Finance Control and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating and improving financial processes to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies
  • Monitoring compliance with internal control policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX 404 requirements and the Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM)
  • Executing end-to-end process walkthroughs and reviewing reporting packages and accounts reconciliations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • At least 7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, internal audit, risk management, or internal controls
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP or comparable systems is preferred
