About the Role:
Aptiv Plc is seeking a highly skilled Regional Quality Management Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Connection Systems Division, you will be responsible for driving, standardizing, educating, and improving the quality management systems for the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation, publishing, and distribution of regional quality management systems documentation.
- Coordinate regional audits, including scheduling, performing, monitoring, and reporting on EOS and IATF 16949 audits.
- Manage the Document Change Request (DCR) process in Team Sharepoint.
- Ensure regional quality management systems documents and KPIs align with global standards.
- Collaborate with regional swimlane/flow champions to revise existing documents and develop new ones.
- Prepare and deliver training to local quality system/audit coordinators.
- Act as an EOS expert within the local quality system/audit coordinators' group.
- Lead EOS projects with quality system/audit coordinators to develop common regional processes.
- Perform internal EOS audits according to the annual audit plan and complete necessary reporting and follow-up of findings.
- Develop and maintain regional internal/external audit plans and ensure compliance.
- Follow up on timeliness of internal/external audit reports and closures of audit findings.
- Prepare regional audit metrics reports and required presentations about internal/external audits.
- Identify, train, and qualify internal EOS auditors and maintain their qualifications.
- Be the counterpart to certification bodies for all quality system-related topics.
- Provide action plans to correct/prevent future audit issues based on top systemic priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or MBA in a relevant area.
- 8+ years of quality management experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry within quality management systems.
- Must be willing to travel minimum 25%.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Contact with certification companies.
