Job Summary

Kodak Alaris Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting, statutory accounting, and global consolidation support to our Group FPA & Reporting Manager and broader finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly global reporting, cash flow statements, covenant calculations/reports, and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Statutory Accounting: Ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements, and prepare accurate month/year-end calculations and reports in accordance with an agreed timetable.
  • Global Consolidation: Manage the month-end close process, including topside adjustments and reporting of other income & charges, fixed & intangible assets, leases, etc.
  • Intercompany Balances: Review and validate intercompany balances and movements across the group (P&L and BS).
  • IFRS 16 Process: Manage the IFRS 16 process, control the model calculation, input all the information required in the model, prepare journals, and reconcile the information of the model with the balances in the accounting system on a monthly basis.
  • Support to Audit: Support the external and internal audit processes, ensuring document requests are accurate & provided on a timely basis, working together with the GL team.
  • Corporate Accounting: Support and/or coordinate any corporate accounting requirements and world-wide accounting standardization processes and reports.
  • Year-End Process: Support the year-end process with the reporting packs and preparation of notes for the financial statements.
  • Process Improvement: Drive simplification and continuous improvement of financial processes.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of post-graduation work experience in an accounting position, preferably with IFRS experience.
  • Strong technical accounting background, including knowledge of local GAAP & IFRS and experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP and reporting systems.
  • Results-oriented, decisive, proactive, and focused with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues from businesses and external/other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with outsourced and/or cross-functional teams to provide support to drive results.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Goal and achievement-oriented, accepting of change, and a champion of it within the work environment.
  • Self-development skills, taking responsibility for developing skills as the needs of the business evolve.
  • Strong oral, written, and formal presentation skills, including ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • Significantly developed problem-solving and analytical skills, combining good technical knowledge with good balance and judgement relating to accounting, financial, and tax issues.
  • Fluent English language mandatory, other language skills desirable.
