We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. GL Accountant and SME to join our team at Danfoss GmbH.
About the Role:
- As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements under IFRS and MEX GAAP, ensuring compliance with company accounting and operational guidelines.
- You will also be responsible for external audit, delivering all financial information related to the company, and recording daily operations and business within General ledger activities.
- Your expertise in journal entries, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliation will be valuable assets to our organization.
- You will work closely with local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and issues, and provide leadership to medium and lower-level accounting personnel on complex assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements under IFRS and MEX GAAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- External Audit Support: Provide all necessary financial information for external audit purposes.
- General Ledger Activities: Record and verify daily operations and business within General ledger activities.
- Journal Entries and Provisions: Review and calculate journal entries, provisions, and period-end activities.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and complete balance sheet reconciliation.
- Intercompany and Loan Reconciliations: Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
- Closing Activities: Participate in month-end closing activities for high-complexity entities.
- SAP Details: Check and analyze SAP details to catch potential posting errors or process issues.
