Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager MEP to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Project Manager MEP, you will be responsible for analyzing electromechanical and special installations to ensure they meet technical specifications and Mexican legislation norms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works to ensure compliance with Mexican standards and client requirements.
  • Develop and control reports, and monitor the qualification of contractor craftsmen.
  • Recommend actions for improvement and contribute to risk analysis and updating project risks matrix.
  • Install process, electrical, and mechanical equipment, and conduct plant inspections of fabrication and installation.
  • Plan and execute checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Manage work planning, scheduling, and execution, and facilitate design reviews.
  • Review and evaluate contractor bids, and communicate with client operations on day-to-day site activities.
  • Prepare and present reports, and attend weekly meetings as scheduled.

Requirements

  • 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction on Industrial / Manufacturing / Data Center projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Electric, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems.
  • Commissioning experience is required.
  • PMI certification is a plus.
  • Experience in LEED projects is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish to lead project team meetings and issue written communications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
  • Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM.
