Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Superintendent to lead our VPC's operational processes, driving profitability and excellence.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in planning and directing operations to inspire positive change across our organization. As an Operations Superintendent, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support our VPC objectives, ensuring compliance with operational processes, and communicating key initiatives to supervisory staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing long-term and short-term strategies aligned with VPC goals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated activities support VPC objectives.
  • Communicating VPC objectives, strategies, and activities to supervisory staff, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Providing training and resources to supervisory staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed.
  • Establishing and monitoring routine management targets to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Identifying and implementing cost-reduction initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Evaluating and establishing operating procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Ensuring adherence to established operating procedures across all production operations functions and processes.
  • Maintaining or exceeding VPC efficiency standards while adhering to WW quality standards.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to workplace safety standards and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Executing total quality management principles to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Collaborating effectively with all members of VPC management to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensuring VPC compliance with WW policies and procedures.
  • Fostering a culture of leadership competencies within the organization.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and upholding company confidentiality policies and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Nurturing positive relationships with customers, vendors, business associates, and employees.
  • Cross-training supervisory staff in multiple VPC functions and promoting a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in planning and directing operations.
  • The ability to inspire change through effective communication at all levels.
  • An understanding of revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results.
  • Experience leading continuous process improvements to create a safe and efficient work environment that meets performance targets.
  • Familiarity with SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management principles.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
Compensation

The salary for this position is $120,000 per year.
