**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to drive the quality assurance of our Point of Sale (POS) solutions in the retail marketplace. This role requires leadership in technical test guidance among the team and the ability to translate customer requirements and technical designs into test scenarios for solution verification.

The successful candidate will join a growing team of engineers dedicated to maintaining a strong team culture and driving quality solutions for retail, working closely with test management to implement and maintain quality improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough test coverage and identifying areas for process improvement.
* Collaborate with product and development teams to understand user requirements and define test coverage, participating in agile ceremonies for software development.
* Analyze, design, implement, and perform execution of test cases, test procedures, and test results, communicating closely with project teams on test status, risks, and mitigation plans.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, creating documentation for test initiatives including test process and plans, custom installation procedures, and traceability matrices.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance testing methodologies and tooling.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years' experience in software test engineering, with a strong understanding of software test methodologies and quality strategy.
  • Experience with test coverage analysis, test execution, and defect management, as well as participation in agile SDLC using agile project management tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOMATION TESTING, SUCH AS BDD AUTOMATED TEST CASES.

**Salary Range**

$120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
