Regal Rexnord is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor to our security efforts, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and safe environment for our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Security Assessments: Conduct regular assessments of physical security measures and protocols at company facilities to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in access control, video surveillance, and other security systems.
- Incident Response: Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and unauthorized access incidents, documenting and reporting incident details, findings, and recommendations for corrective action.
- Access Control and Monitoring: Manage and monitor access control systems to ensure proper authentication and authorization of personnel, reviewing access logs and identifying any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
- Video Surveillance (CCTV): Monitor and analyze CCTV footage to detect and prevent security breaches, theft, or suspicious activities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders when necessary and providing video evidence as required.
- Security Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with company security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, recommending updates to policies and procedures based on changing security landscape and best practices.
- Emergency Preparedness: Collaborate with emergency response teams to develop and maintain emergency plans and procedures, participating in drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of response plans.
- Security Training and Awareness: Contribute to the development and delivery of security training programs for employees and contractors, promoting a culture of security awareness and vigilance.
- Travel Risk Management and Executive Protection: Collaborate with relevant teams to implement travel risk program procedures, providing security guidance to traveling employees, executives, and teams, and coordinating executive protection measures as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in security management or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Physical Security Analyst or in a similar role.
- Skills: Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV technologies, and physical security equipment, strong attention to detail and ability to analyze security-related data, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, basic knowledge of security regulations and standards applicable in Mexico, proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Travel: Yes, within Mexico and US/Mexico border locations.
