About the Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst position is a critical component of Symrise's strategy to drive growth and competitiveness. This role plays a vital part in providing actionable insights, improving operational efficiency, and supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  2. Reporting and Visualization: Design and develop reports and dashboards using Symrise's systems (SAP, EIS, etc.) to present complex data in an easily understandable format.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights to support business objectives.
  5. Data Quality Management: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used for analysis.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and database management are essential.

Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), detail-oriented, and ability to work on multiple tasks/deadlines are required.

Experience in analytics or FP&A functions is highly desirable.
