Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist/Senior Accounting Specialist ATR to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end processes within our ATR function, ensuring quality in accounting delivery, and managing intercompany transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute monthly review and analysis of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation and documentation
  • Manage and report on intercompany transactions
  • Manage and report on fixed asset related transactions
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial reports
  • Resolve audit queries
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with respect to accounting and reporting queries
  • Responsible for data management in the ATR domain

Performance Management & Compliance

  • Performance manage a selection of ATR related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure effective execution and documentation of internal finance controls
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to maintain and improve internal controls and performance management
  • Ensure well-versed understanding of group accounting policies, guidelines, and control framework

Change Management

  • Support implementation of changes to processes or systems
  • Participate in Kaizens to improve performance or close process gaps

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in GL/ATR function
  • Prior experience working on ERP systems is an added advantage
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Familiar with MS Outlook and Internet
  • Good communication skills
  • Good personal attributes - matured, confident, and a team player
