Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist at Pinkerton plays a vital role in supporting the company's financial operations by performing a range of accounting and administrative tasks. This includes transaction processing, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger management, billing, and reporting. The successful candidate will also provide treasury support, including cash pool management, foreign currency transactions, and bank account administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the global ERP system for assigned regions.
  • Assist with transaction processing, document retention, and general ledger entries.
  • Provide treasury support, including cash pool management and foreign currency transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing, HQ reporting, and annual statutory audit.
  • Perform accounts analysis and prepare inter-company and bank reconciliations.
  • Conduct business unit analysis and revenue and cost reporting.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including employee correspondence and working with tax consultants.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with two to four years of accounting experience. Microsoft Dynamics 365, FRX, and/or Hyperion experience is preferred. Written and verbal bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish are required.
