About the Role

Revolut Ltd is a leading financial technology company that is revolutionizing the way people manage their money. As a Credit Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's credit risk policies and strategies for retail lending products in Mexico.

The credit department at Revolut is a dynamic and innovative team that designs, develops, and launches credit products across the globe. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing account-level valuation frameworks, making data-driven decisions, and adjusting risk return requirements to optimize portfolio-level economic returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Credit Risk Policies: Design and develop credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies for Revolut's retail lending products in Mexico.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analysis and statistical models to make informed decisions about credit risk management.
  • Manage Risk Return Requirements: Adjust risk return requirements and manage portfolio returns to optimize economic returns.
  • Support Business Planning: Support the annual budget, forecast, and planning processes by analyzing market trends, gathering data, and preparing plans.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze the performance of ongoing initiatives and credit KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and Implement Process Improvements: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement small-scale changes within the Credit function.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record of managing the risk cycle for retail credit products.
  • Education and Qualifications: A bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative/analytical field, such as engineering, statistics, physics, math, economics, or management.
  • Credit Policy Governance: A solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks to work through 2nd/3rd line of defence in a competent manner.
  • Results-Oriented: Deliver excellent results that exceed requirements.
  • Forward-Thinking: A forward-thinking mentality to plan appropriately, meet multiple objectives, and proactively identify/resolve issues.
  • Credit and Behavioural Scoring: Expertise in credit and behavioural scoring models, especially for retail credit products.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner.
Nice to Have
  • Technical Skills: Excellent working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and/or other data analysis tools.
  • Adaptability: A willingness to learn new technology to help the business scale.
