At DB Schenker, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing strategic and tactical procurement activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, request for proposal development, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract awarding.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct contract management activities, including contract creation, modifications, and renewals.
- Foster positive relationships with suppliers through effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose process enhancements to optimize procurement operations.
- Collect, analyze, and report procurement data to support decision-making and measure performance.
- University degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in strategic/tactical procurement, preferably in Indirect Procurement.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Experienced in utilizing procurement tools and proficient in data analysis methods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing procurement transactions and maintaining records.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
