**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst Jr. to join our team at Johnson Controls, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in collecting and coordinating business requirements for analytical reporting.
About the Role:
- Collect and coordinate business requirements for analytical reporting.
- Monitor the performance of reports and dashboards, complete data validations, resolve data integrity issues, and develop/enhance processes with simplification or automation.
- Provide BI system user support through training and query resolution to ensure the most effective usage of BI data and Process Automation.
- Act as an intermediary between the business and IT, partnering with Finance teams to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual designs from which applications and solutions are implemented.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that enable business strategies.
- Advise the business on how to utilize IT systems effectively and champion IT standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:**
- Partner with process specialists and users to obtain and document business requirements and convert them into business cases for new projects.
- Provide strategic and analytic support for special projects assigned.
- Evaluate alternate solutions and design processes and systems which includes user impact considerations, cost and benefit analysis, and processing specifications.
- Use current knowledge of business and technology to recommend systems and process improvements.
- Perform the design, build, integration, development, testing, and deployment of application technology solutions.
- Utilize industry experience to design and execute features that enhance business processes.
- Provide support for existing applications.
- Provide consultancy services to users and functional areas on Finance systems and related inquiries for new projects or implementations.
- Participate in the analysis of root causes and focus on creating permanent solutions.
- Provide support (both technical and business focused) for all implementations.
- Report progress on initiatives in a summarized written format.
- Work with cross-functional teams coordinating them to create quality design documents and develop quality products within the scheduled timeline.
- Participate in design sessions, contributing to the overall design.
- Organize, participate in, and conduct application walk-throughs, training, and other internal presentations.
- Manage tasks to meet the assigned project dates.
Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Fluent in English.
- 1-2 years of information systems experience.
- 1+ years performing Business Analysis or Customer Service related work.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite for development (Flows, Power Apps) is a plus.
