As a Business Intelligence Developer - Data Analytics Expert, you will play a critical role in helping us make more data-driven decisions by deploying best-in-class business analytics, data visualization, data modeling, data mining, and infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include scoping, analyzing, developing, automating, enhancing, and validating BI reporting & analytics, and dashboard solutions in a timely manner. You will also transform medium complexity data sets into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
To achieve this, you will develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards on Tableau or other visualization tools, produce and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly reporting systems and dashboards, support the data visualization process, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues.
You will work with end-users to understand their conceptual needs, clearly document conceptual requirements, and build/request the data models needed to deliver the final report. Additionally, you will own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, and analyses used to drive key business decisions per the Execution Center plan.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000, depending on location and experience. Johnson Controls offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings plans and paid time off.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar) and 2+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, BI Data Engineering, or other related fields. You will also need medium SQL skills for acquiring and transforming data, proficiency in drawing insights from data, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
