Job Description

This role will involve working closely with our GL Accounting Lead and Business colleagues to ensure all period end closing financial reporting activities are completed accurately and on time. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all period end closing financial reporting activities in US GAAP and Local GAAP ledgers for Mexico entities.
  • Support month end and quarter end reporting activities.
  • Prepare analytical reviews, including variance analysis of month end financial results.
  • Prepare supporting documentations for statutory accounts.
  • Present timely and complete compliance to local statutory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years relevant post-qualification experience in Insurance Accounting.
  • Hands-on experience in Local and US GAAP reporting roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, treasury, internal controls, financial systems, and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
