Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior FICO Analyst. This role requires a strong background in finance and technology, with a focus on SAP FICO systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your Bachelor's degree in Business Management or an equivalent field, with a preference for a Technology major.
  • Possess a certification in Accounting (CPA or similar) to enhance your qualifications.
  • Communicate fluently in both Spanish and English, demonstrating excellent written and verbal skills to foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of SAP FICO, particularly in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Identify optimal use cases for system capabilities, empowering Subject Matter Experts to maximize their potential.
  • Lead the design, development, and troubleshooting of solutions, providing thorough pros and cons analyses for various options.
  • Engage with senior management to provide updates, escalate issues, and obtain approvals for significant decisions.
  • Manage functionalities related to General Ledger, including parallel ledgers, global charts of accounts, and multi-currency setups.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable integration with other modules, ensuring smooth intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to e-invoicing and legal intricacies in various regions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders during audits and reviews, focusing on legal requirements.
  • Handle asset accounting and banking functions effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SAP Controlling and familiarity with S4 HANA.
  • Possess a basic understanding of ABAP for debugging and code reading.
  • Bring approximately 15 years of experience, with 8-10 years dedicated to hands-on SAP implementations.
  • Participate in the implementation and global rollout of the FICO module across diverse regions.
  • Provide production support and enhancements, showcasing the ability to scale and adapt in implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed IT teams and leverage experience in the retail sector.
