Job Summary
Celestica is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Support group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS performance and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
