Key Responsibilities- Participate in customer focus team meetings and act as a liaison between customers and the team.
- Receive, review, and monitor the status of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify and resolve issues affecting product delivery.
- Communicate customer requirements and issues in production meetings, ensuring effective issue resolution.
- Research and coordinate resolution of issues related to material, forecast, EDI transmission, and production problems.
- Maintain records of issues, complaints, and corrective action requests for reporting purposes.
- Enter data into databases to ensure root cause analysis and issue closure.
- Troubleshoot return issues and develop performance reports and measurements for internal staff.
- Track and resolve issues and discrepancies related to monthly management reports.
- Analyze issues and problems to determine trends and prepare reports on open order status, placements, on-time delivery, return metrics, inventory, and buffer stock status.
- Assist in the preparation of new product, qualification, and service quotes, and track project and billing status.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, schedules, and logistics.
- Knowledge of business issues associated with manufacturing.
- Knowledge of customer contracts and terms.
- Excellent customer contact, negotiation, and problem-resolution skills.
- Good presentation, database management, and computer skills.
- Ability to enter detailed data from source documents into various databases with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
This role is performed in a normal office environment, requiring extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements are frequently required.
