Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at New Millennium Building Systems. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, working closely with the Accounting Supervisor to manage financial functions, and assisting with the development and improvement of company inventory software and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for intercompany transactions, including documentation and reconciliation.
  • Gather all information needed to claim the VAT receivable and provide to third-party vendors on a monthly basis.
  • Account reconciliations, journal entries, inventory physical counts, fixed assets counts, and depreciation calculations.
  • Inventory reconciliations and income tax calculations.
  • Periodic review of balance sheet reconciliations from other departments.
  • Support other accounting activities and areas as required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with month-end closings and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and taxes calculation (ISR, IVA).
  • Inventory management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Tax refunds.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • 3 years of accounting experience (required).
  • Month-end closing experience (required).

Language

English (required).
