Bakery Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Bakery Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.\Component
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.\Component
• FOLLOW and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.\Component
• Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management.\Component
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.\Component
• Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift.\Component

Requirements

To be successful as a Bakery Specialist, you will need:

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent\Component
• Less than 1-year related work experience\Component
• No supervisory experience\Component
