Responsibilities

The Role

As a Microsoft 365 engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing PepsiCo's productivity through advanced collaboration tools and secure cloud services. With over 270,000 users relying on Microsoft 365, your expertise will help us optimize our collaboration solutions, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Teams.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Collaboration Solutions services, ensuring seamless operation and support across the Americas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and administration of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Governance and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance.
  • Licensing and cost optimization strategies.
  • Upgrades, maintenance, and security assessments.
  • Monitoring service health and managing user permissions.
  • Providing third-level support for complex issues.
  • Acting as a recovery manager during Microsoft Cloud outages.

Your Contributions

As a Microsoft 365 Collaboration Solutions Architect, your responsibilities will include:

  • M365 Governance

Establishing best practices and policies for M365, including security assessments and permissions management.

SaaS Solutions Management

Defining governance for third-party SaaS services, ensuring compliance and security.

Reporting

Ensuring stakeholders receive timely reports on licensing, usage, and service availability.

Secure Score Management

Collaborating with various teams to maintain a high Secure Score for M365 services.

Service Management

Ensuring efficient ticket processing and collaboration with support teams.

Change Management

Engaging with stakeholders regarding new releases and managing change requests.

Service Availability Monitoring

Overseeing the health and availability of all M365 products and coordinating resolutions as needed.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years working with Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience with Active Directory and Azure.
  • Proven track record in third-level support.
  • Experience managing vendor solutions and services.
  • Project management experience is essential.

Technical Skills

  • MCSA: Productivity and MCSE: Productivity certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based services (SaaS).
  • Advanced understanding of the Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Experience with scripting and automation (Graph API, Windows PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for desktop, laptop, and server environments.
