About the Role
Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Facilities Operations Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including buildings, offices, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance work related to buildings, offices, and services to ensure they are in good condition and meet the company's operational needs.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Manage and coordinate projects related to improving buildings, offices, and services, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Develop and implement a culture of safety and risk management, and provide training and coaching to employees to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports related to facilities operations, including maintenance schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field, such as maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, utilities, and capital projects, with a strong emphasis on operations and management.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in software solutions and tools related to facilities management, including maintenance scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes, including electric installations, natural gas installations, fire protection/prevention installations, and other relevant areas.
