- Vendor Relationship Management: Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitor their performance, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with the project team, finance, and operations to align procurement activities with business needs and objectives.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements to make informed procurement decisions.
- Cost Savings and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (CIPS certification highly recommended).
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles (CAPEX procurement a bonus).
- Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of Mexico Procurement Policy and General practice Dos and Don'ts.
- Language: Knowledge of English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
