Job Summary:

Electrolux is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Director to lead our production planning and inventory management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, ensuring adequate supply of finished goods and minimizing backorders.
  • Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) and Demand Flow techniques to optimize production and inventory levels.
  • Provide leadership and direction to master planners, schedulers, inventory control personnel, and material handling supervision.
  • Coordinate and administer all activities related to receipt, supply, and inventory management of raw materials from arrival to shipping.
  • Collaborate with customs department to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate product shipments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Operations Management or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in management roles in materials and logistics areas.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, warehouse, and material handling operations, methods, and practices.
  • Experience with computer-based production scheduling activities and knowledge of JDE system is a plus.
  • Ability to develop personnel and work groups into high-performing teams and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in establishing production plans from sales forecasts with varying degrees of accuracy.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to react quickly to unanticipated orders.

Compensation:

$100,000.00 per month.
