About the Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for site or regional procurement based on the defined global category strategy. This includes strategic tasks such as sourcing, demand management, and market analysis, as well as tactical tasks like RFQ, negotiation, and contracting.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main site interface to suppliers, negotiating contracts for the best total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Work with internal stakeholders to align demand, priorities, and consult on sourcing options.
- Apply best-in-class procurement methods and market intelligence to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with local/global rules and processes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a strong background in negotiation, interaction, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Excellent communication and supplier relationship management skills.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
