This position is essential for maintaining the ongoing excellence of technical expertise and line supervision in production, by managing a critical segment of the operation (technical, systemic, or organizational) to achieve outcomes dictated by the significant business demands of the facility. You will ensure that vital business objectives are met while fostering the development of others to maintain technical proficiency on the production line. Through a structured methodology, you will apply strategic thinking to guarantee that results are sustained over time.

Your Contributions

In what may be your initial leadership role, you will ensure that Mondelēz International's safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and employee engagement goals are met for the lines under your supervision by translating overall targets into specific line and unit objectives, ensuring that team members comprehend their individual performance expectations in relation to the collective goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for budget formulation and cost management, governance and compliance, loss reduction, and workforce planning, which includes recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and identifying high-potential team members. Your leadership is crucial for delivering premium snacks to our customers.

Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems Independently maintaining equipment in optimal condition, including executing AM & PM (breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on designated machinery Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma, including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3 Leading production teams Navigating challenging interpersonal dynamics with diplomacy Influencing individuals in a unionized environment Communicating effectively in both verbal and written forms with a keen attention to detail

Additional Role Insights:

The Production Line Supervisor in the cookie division will be responsible for conducting plant tours, monitoring performance indicators, and overseeing team performance. This role will lead and initiate projects aimed at reducing waste.

Requirements:

Experience in similar or equivalent roles. Background in a production facility. Experience in personnel management, addressing needs, and maintaining open communication. Results-oriented mindset Experience in production environments Familiarity with continuous improvement systems, TPM, and autonomous maintenance. Project execution experience Green belt and black belt certifications. Intermediate English proficiency
