Job Summary:

The Engineering Learning and Development Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering Global Engineering training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a deep understanding of engineering curricula, and proven expertise in managing large-scale projects. This role will consult and lead project teams to effectively shape and apply the training strategy, approach, roadmap, tools, and templates to Engineering-specific learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for various levels of Engineering leaders, managers, and employees, ensuring alignment with industry standards and ENG academic advancements.
  2. Conduct Training Needs Analysis: Identify skills gaps and training requirements through thorough analysis, collaborating with educational institutions to stay updated on current engineering curricula.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Establish global relationships and partnerships with internal business teams, external learning organizations, and Engineering Universities to increase the effectiveness of Engineering learning initiatives.
  4. Manage Training Organization: Oversee event planning, LMS tracking, and coordinating class resources, ensuring seamless delivery of training programs.
  5. Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programs and make continuous improvements to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes.
  6. Lead Large-Scale Projects: Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  7. Communicate Effectively: Coordinate and communicate effectively across global Engineering teams using multiple communication tools and technology.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in training and development, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in training and development, with a proven record of leading and managing large projects.
  3. Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, eLearning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, Rise 360, and familiar with AI applications.
