About the Role

TSYS Servicos de Transacoes Eletronicas is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our regulatory compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our payment systems and processes comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise directly with Mexican regulatory bodies, clients, and consultancy law firms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls to support the interpretation and implementation of compliance regulations and projects.
  • Identify required updates and initiate action based on compliance requirements and legislative direction of regulatory bodies.
  • Administer the compliance workstream of multiple initiatives/projects, providing consultative advice to ensure adherence to department, division, and corporate disciplines and methodologies.
  • Communicate identified compliance gaps to management and recommend remediation and communication plans for issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Technology, Business Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous payment network experience is mandatory.
  • Deep understanding of Mexican regulatory bodies and their application to the Payments Ecosystem and financial industries.
  • Experience working with process improvement and project management methodologies is desired.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
  • Candidates must be based in Mexico.
Working Conditions
  • Standard work day with after-hours/weekend/holiday work required periodically.
  • Some travel required.
