Job Summary:

At Webasto, we are driven by innovation and a passion for mobility. As an Indirect MRO Buyer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our purchasing strategy and ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle relevant purchasing processes within defined groups, in collaboration with the Director of Purchasing.
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers.
  • Support the development, coordination, and implementation of purchasing strategies within defined groups.
  • Establish and maintain a supplier base in agreement with the Director of Purchasing.
  • Source materials and products in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Optimize the supply chain in cooperation with suppliers and departments/plants, focusing on Supply Chain Management.
  • Visit suppliers/plants as needed to ensure quality and competitiveness.
  • Conduct regular reviews and develop corrective actions to improve supplier quality and competitiveness.
  • Perform independent market analysis to identify new suppliers.
  • Review and maintain supplier master data, including conditions and agreements.
  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers, departments, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and generate monthly KPI reports for indirect purchasing.
