Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Engineer to join our team at Flex, a leading diversified manufacturing partner. As a Simulation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our IT systems by providing technical business and project coordination necessary to implement, architect, design, build, test, and implement software solutions that automate specific business processes.

• Analyze and research data related to operational metrics and manufacturing environments to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and deploy Discrete Event Simulation software in production environments to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Use advanced software development techniques to create connected factory systems and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to perform data-driven operational decisions.
• Collaborate with support team personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop corrective action, method improvement to resolve problems, and develop simulations.
• Promote effective data management and visualization for projects within the space of Simulation and Modelling using Big Data Management Tools and other methodologies.
• Provide Global SME technical support to sites on DES Simulation, ensuring compliance and improved best practices in project executions.
• Perform optimization and machine/operator/station utilization studies to improve manufacturing efficiency.

• Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience with a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Knowledge of Flexsim, visual components, and experience working with databases SQL.
• Ability to use and create simulation and industrial engineering software tools and solutions, knowledge as well as design engineering experience.
• Six Sigma, black belt, lean manufacturing a plus.
