Job Overview
The Overnight Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all property operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided to guests.

Responsibilities
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all Guidelines to Operations
• Ensure all employees are in proper uniform and are properly groomed, adhering to grooming standards outlined in the employee handbook
• Ensure employees work in a safe environment, maintaining high standards of safety and security
• Manage all period-end inventories, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

Supporting Profitability and Revenue Goals
• Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement, identifying areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
• Assist in responding to and resolving all guest issues received directly from guests or from Guest Relations, providing prompt and courteous service
• Collaborate with the accounts receivable clerk in all aspects of their job, keeping invoices due below 60 days
• Monitor chargebacks and rebates, working with the leadership team to implement action plans to prevent their reoccurrence
• Administer cash handling procedures, monitoring overage/shortages and ensuring employees adhere to proper protocols
• Manage employee hours, optimizing staffing levels to meet guest needs

Additional Responsibilities
• Promote participation in property safety-related programs, fostering a culture of safety and well-being
• Monitor employee attendance, recording absences/tardiness and addressing any issues promptly
• Encourage teamwork and employee morale, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance
• Keep employees informed about new operational procedures, standards, or programs, ensuring seamless implementation
• Assist supervisors in handling employee performance issues, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
