About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert in Cash Management and Payments. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of a global online banking platform for small business, corporate, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the Target Customer Experience
    • Understand current market research and track global trends, competitor offerings, and market requirements
    • Maintain lines of communication with delivery network, partners, and customers about needs, competitive opportunities, and trends
    • Participate in strategic conversations about customer experience in the business banking space
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Business Plans
    • Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for the team, maintaining a backlog of 3 to 4 sprints ahead
    • Direct the development and definition of key capabilities and functionality
    • Review development work completed throughout sprint cycles to ensure key metrics are achieved and a process of continual improvement of the capabilities and customer experience
  • Provide Strong Team Leadership
    • Set team goals, monitor, and report progress regularly using dynamic/visual tools
    • Foster and develop a strong, positive team environment, driving individual contributor and team empowerment, innovation, and high engagement
    • Share knowledge, experience, and responsibility with technology teams to drive the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert
    • Have in-depth knowledge of online business banking channels and associated Cash Management and Payment Services
    • Understand electronic banking knowledge, including payment services, account balance and transaction reporting, liquidity management services, and channel security components
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in Cash Management and Payments industry and in-depth understanding of the global payments marketplace and regulatory environment
  • Experience working on large technology projects using industry-standard delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong business sense with knowledge of financial concepts and ability to apply them to business situations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English fluent speaker, Spanish is nice to have but not required)
  • Strong decision-making, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences
