About the Role
This position is for a seasoned professional in manufacturing operations, who works independently to monitor and analyze cell performance and productivity. The ideal candidate will coordinate scheduling activities and sequencing of work, working across operations disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Leading kaizen workshops to meet or exceed company metrics and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Promoting a lean culture and ensuring that established quality standards are met.
- Reviewing and documenting quality-related items to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Identifying cost reduction and process improvement opportunities to ensure efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinating scheduling activities to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of facilities.
- Coordinating sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of resources.
- Leveraging analysis on cell performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
Requirements
We are looking for a team player with the following qualifications:
- 3-4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Advanced English language skills.
- University Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- AutoCAD knowledge.
