About the Position

This role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives to improve indirect procurement processes across manufacturing sites in North America, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with global/regional stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities in buyers' roles/responsibilities, processes, and policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key local suppliers to ensure reliable service and product quality, monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
  • Analyze indirect spend across all sites to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, tracking procurement performance metrics and contributing to these metrics.
  • Provide training and guidance to site-level personnel on procurement policies, processes, and systems, ensuring effective integration and collaboration into strategic category spend plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or related area.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in supply chain/operations, with CPSM, CLTD, CSCP, PMP, or equivalent certification(s) preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
