Job Summary:

ICON is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trial Manager to join our team. As a Senior Clinical Trial Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of all clinical aspects of our studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Oversight: Oversee the clinical portion of the budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and maximize return on investment.
  • Study Oversight: Develop and implement effective monitoring plans and tools to ensure seamless study execution and compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to optimize their performance and drive team success.
  • Study Start-Up & Enrollment: Drive enrollment and lead study start-up activities, adhering to timelines and ensuring timely study initiation.
  • Study Integrity: Review trip reports and implement corrective and preventative action plans to maintain study integrity and quality.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster productive relationships with Sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Clinical Trial Management role at a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical company.
  • Bachelor's degree in health, life sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years of monitoring experience.
  • Global experience, particularly in managing regional operations across LATAM countries.
  • Experience managing all trial components from start-up to database lock.
  • Experience in coaching/mentoring CTMs, leading CTM teams, and participating in departmental initiatives.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
