Caregiving Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiving Professional to join our team at Right at Home in Amory, MS. As a Personal Support Associate, you will provide non-medical care and assistance to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform personal care activities that assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and shaving. You will also prepare meals and snacks, and perform patient-specific activities taught by a nurse.

In addition, you will perform homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience as a caregiver, strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills. A high school graduate or GED certificate is preferred, and you must be 18 years of age or older.

You will also need to pass a written competency evaluation with 80% or higher and have six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare. A state-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course completion is required, and you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
