We are looking for a top-star Inventory Management Coordinator to work as an essential part of one of our client's biofuels trading department.

As an Inventory Management Coordinator, some of your key responsibilities will be:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently schedule biodiesel supply and customer offtake at offsite terminals to maintain uninterrupted product flow.
  • Provide backup scheduling and inventory support for the production plant when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking systems, reconciling them with external portals for constant product status updates.
  • Track and communicate the status of supplier and customer contracts.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for various renewable fuels, including ethanol and renewable diesel.
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with suppliers, customers, carriers, and terminal partners.
  • Collaborate closely with traders, terminal staff, and production plant personnel to address and resolve logistics challenges or issues that may arise.
  • Conduct audits of third-party inventory and demurrage charges.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday (8-hour shift).

Requirements:

  • American Visa (current or in the process of renewal).
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced English (verbal and written).
  • Tech Savvy (experience using Zoom, Teams, Google).
  • Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Comfortable with problem-solving.
  • Experience in data entry.

Important Notes:

This position requires several initial trips to our Fontana, CA terminal for training and initial staff engagement. It may also require future, periodic trips to this terminal or others if the need arises. All other routine workdays will be performed remotely. The fuel industry is a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation and after hours and weekend work will be required from time to time.
