The Project Engineer is a key member of our team, responsible for planning and executing productivity projects. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring project progress, setting deadlines, solving issues that arise, managing capital requests, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate project feasibility and develop a project plan.
- Establish project deadlines and monitor progress.
- Identify and resolve issues that impact project success.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and communicate project status.
- Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and train on project management tools and methodologies.
- Analyze components and products to improve design, manufacturability, and product lines.
- Design and improve processes and products.
- Specify engineering and project management standards.
- Support manufacturing and commercial operations groups and external customers.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- Project Management experience and knowledge of product design or project procedures.
- Proven results leading cost-out projects.
- 4 or more years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Spanish as a second language a plus.
