Job Summary: Eaton's IS VEH Power Connections division is seeking a Project Quality Supervisor to ensure the issuance of PPAP with clients, monitoring of new projects and transfers, and correct release of projects through analysis of trends and statistical factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate that new projects and products comply with documentation requirements.
- Generate FMEA, Control Plan, and Flowchart.
- Issue updates on new products and/or projects.
- Authority to hold material in PPAP hold, meet deadlines for PPAP issuances.
- Responsible for ensuring that new products when delivered to production have the information required for their monitoring in process.
- Ensure the timely and proper closing of WPA.
- Develop strategies during new projects to meet the plant's SCRAP targets.
- Ensure the correct monitoring and control of the CTQs in the production process.
- Support with SQE to ensure PPAPs approvals of new projects in a timely manner.
- Responsible for quality activities in new programs through Pro-launch uses. Works closely with the project team and WPA to set goals/requirements for projects success, design/engineering scorecard.
- Ensure that non-conforming products, raw materials, WIP or final products do not go to the next stages of each phase of the project.
Qualifications:
- Basic qualifications: 3-5 years as Quality Engineer and NPD (High recommended)
- Conversational English
- Preferred: Troubleshooting Tools, Injection Process, Assembly Process, Stamping Process, Plex System, IATF 16949, Drawing Interpretation, Using Quality Tools, APQP, PPAPs
