Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Projects Manager to join our Projects Team based in Valeo, Queretaro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing quality in projects, ensuring customer and Valeo quality and cost targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management
    • Develop and monitor the Quality Roadmap for the project to achieve quality and cost targets.
    • Define and track quality costs for the project.
    • Follow up on customer milestones and detect potential risks.
  • CPM Compliance
    • Ensure Build-In Quality Standards are respected, including SPPC tracking and identification procedures.
    • Challenge other Project Technical Managers on their activities.
  • Design and Change Focus
    • Ensure novelty on products and processes are considered in DFMEA, PFMEA, and DV&PV.
    • Verify that LLCs have been used in the D/P FMEA to reduce RPN and respected.
    • After design freeze, ensure 4M matrix respect with regards product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix.
    • Update quality documents following product or process-related changes.
    • Participate in design reviews, including suppliers and tool makers.
    • Perform revision of the control plan after an issue and/or after test results.
  • Supplier Management
    • Support activities defined for internal and external supplier parts on Valeo sites, to support Purchasing and SQA teams.
    • Collect suppliers' encountered issues and alternative proposals made by suppliers to integrate best practices.
  • IS Validation
    • Define prototype, pre-serial, and serial control plans as the owner of these milestones.
    • Ensure consistency between SPPC, FMEA, and control plans.
    • Participate in pre-FDPR and FDPR.
    • Prepare IS internal and customer deliverables, internal Initial Sample file to be validated by the Site Quality Manager prior to presenting the Initial Sample file to the Customer for sign-off.
  • QRQC Rules
    • Participate in project QRQC and ensure project team use of QRQC material/rules.
    • Ensure all issues are in the single list of issues and managed in QRQC.
    • Along the project QRQC, ensure rules are respected and Stop at First Disagree and Stop at First No are applied.
    • Initiate QRQCs in the case of DV or PV test failures.
