Se busca un Gerente de Operaciones de Planta para liderar las actividades diarias de las plantas de manufactura y los empleados. En este rol, el gerente de la planta, planea y dirige todas las actividades operativas en el centro en apoyo de las directrices, políticas, procedimientos y objetivos corporativos y de la unidad de negocio. Trabaja en conjunto con socios comerciales de la empresa desde la financiera, recursos humanos, compras, calidad, etc. para asegurar que las actividades sigan los estándares comerciales adecuados. Desarrolla e implementa estrategias comerciales que conduzcan a mejoras en todas las áreas de la operación. El Gerente de la Planta también será responsable de supervisar múltiples ubicaciones de sitios.

Responsabilidades:

Proporcionar condiciones seguras y saludables para las personas en el centro y impactar en la comunidad como un guardián ambiental.
- Tendrá responsabilidad de múltiples ubicaciones físicas dentro del mismo área geográfica localmente, así como actividades directas a través de la dirección de sitios ubicados remotamente en instalaciones más pequeñas.
- Implementar medidas que conduzcan a que el centro cumpla o supere todos los objetivos corporativos (envíos, costo de conversión, inventario en dólares y DOH, presupuestos, OTDP, etc.).
- Informar directamente al Director de Operaciones, pero puede recibir asignaciones de otros miembros senior del equipo corporativo.
- Asegurarse de que todas las actividades cumplan con los estándares adecuados, incluyendo políticas y procedimientos de la empresa, regulaciones gubernamentales, procedimientos financieros sólidos, estándares de la industria, etc.
- Proporcionar un ambiente de trabajo efectivo para nuestro personal y un proceso de comunicación regular y sólido que permita a todos los miembros del centro ser parte del equipo.
- Trabajar con socios comerciales en otras áreas funcionales para gestionar el centro mientras se cumplen los objetivos individuales para todos los miembros del equipo.
- Impulsar la implementación del Sistema de Producción de Hubbell (Lean) como una forma de vida en el centro.
- Desarrollar, implementar y monitorear planes prospectivos para mejorar la organización en todas las áreas.
- Impulsar mejoras operativas para maximizar la utilización de nuestros recursos y el valor de nuestras inversiones en capital.
- Revisar las necesidades y recomendar el personal adecuado para que el centro pueda cumplir con sus objetivos.
- Proporcionar la coordinación necesaria para todas las áreas funcionales en el centro para asegurar que estén maximizando sus actividades en términos de los objetivos del centro (Seguridad, Calidad, Entrega, Productividad, Inventario).
- Debe ser flexible para poder apoyar al centro en todas las tres turnos.
- Coordinar con la configuración de presupuestos y desarrollar/mantener métricas apropiadas para lograr objetivos presupuestarios, como costo, productividad, gasto en capital, absorción e inventario en días.
- Entregar resultados de calidad favorables a través de la gestión del programa de calidad en el centro.
- Trabajar en colaboración en una organización matriz con la calidad corporativa, seguridad, finanzas, recursos humanos, cadena de suministro y grupos de mejora continua.
- Monitorear, informar y tomar acción sobre métricas críticas en la planta

Requisitos y Experiencia:

- Licenciatura en Ingeniería General
- +3 años de experiencia en un puesto similar
- Bilingüe español/inglés
- Habilidades de comunicación: fuertes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal a través de todos los niveles de la organización.
- Capacidad para desarrollar presentaciones de PowerPoint profesionales y articular efectivamente el mensaje.
- Fuerte capacidad analítica y capacidad para desarrollar planes de acción para la mejora.
- Capacidad para evaluar una organización y desarrollar/mantener planes de mejora.
- Fuerte capacidad de liderazgo a través de todos los niveles del centro.
- Debe entender el proceso de gestión empresarial y ser capaz de entregar resultados.
- Fuerte capacidad para gestionar múltiples prioridades a través de múltiples departamentos.
- Debe tener la capacidad de liderar un equipo y construir talento en apoyo del equipo
